CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

 

THIS SHOW WILL BE CONDUCTED UNDER THE ARABIAN HORSE SOCIETY COMPETITION RULE BOOK – A COPY CAN BE OBTAINED USING THIS LINK:

  1. The lodging of any entry shall bind the exhibitor to the conditions of entry and the regulations set out here in and the signature of any exhibitor on the entry form shall constitute acceptance of these conditions SA ARABS Inc Committee shall have the power without giving reason to: Alter the time of the scheduled event or class startingtime; Remove any exhibitor from the showground for displaying abuse towards their horse; Combine any classes.
  2. Rings will not be held up for competitors who have clashing classes. However every endeavor will be made to ensure that clashes do notoccur.
  3. Championship Classes and Senior Rider Championship Classes will be awarded Champion, Reserve Champion and Top 5 Sashes and awards. Top 5 sashes will be allocated according the number of horses entered in the show catalogue. (1-4 horses - Champion and Reserve Champion; 5 horses – Champion & Reserve Champion, 1 top five sash; 6 horses - Champion, Reserve Champion, 2 top five sashes and 7+ horses Champion & Reserve Champion and 3 top fivesashes)
  4. Stallions and colts will not be permitted to be handled, ridden, or driven by any person under 18 years of age whilst on the show grounds.
  5. All exhibits, including foals, must be registered with the AHSA and the registration number must be quoted on the entry form. Pending registrations are not acceptable. Ages of the horses/ponies are referenced to the 1st August convention.
  6. All exhibits must be able to be identified by their brands or microchip and/or markings in accordance with the Certification of Registration issued by the Society. Change of coat colour or adding white markings is prohibited and may result indisqualification
  7. SA ARABS Inc shall not be held responsible for loss of or damage or injury occasioned to any exhibitor or to the property of any exhibitorfor any cause what so ever.
  8. The exhibitor and exhibits enter entirely at their own risk. In any case of an exhibit, whilst on the showgrounds, causing or being the cause of injury or damage to any other exhibitor or exhibit, OR to the person or property of ANY member of SA ARABS Inc or its officers, the general public, each owner of such exhibit shall indemnify SA ARABS Inc, its officers, officials and members from and against all damages, costs, claims, expenses or liabilities incurred with such incident. The exhibitor shall be liable to SA ARABS Inc its officers, officials and members for any damage or loss occasioned to any of them by the exhibit or exhibitors or agents.
  9. SA Arabs Inc has a Risk Management Policy ( incl Hot weather policy & Child Safe Policy ) and all exhibitors are encouraged to read this document available on our website.
  10. Entry Fees (less $20 Admin Levy) will only be refunded upon production of Veterinary Certificate verifying that an entered horse is unfit to compete on the day of competition. Refunds will not be processed on the day of the show.
  11. A full photocopy of any Dual Registration Certificate, must accompany the Entry Form and Fees. Only one Handler/Rider permitted per class, with the exception of the SA Championship Cup.
  12. The age of Junior competitors will be on the day of the show. Copy of Birth Certificate may be requested.

 

 

INSURANCE

A Release and Waiver of Liability Form must be completed by EVERY handler / rider / groom.

Every participant must either be an AHSA Member or an AHSA Affiliate Member.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED IF PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP IS NOT PROVIDED. ALL INSURANCE FORMS MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED WITH NAMES, ADDRESSES & SIGNED BY THE PERSON WAIVING THE LIABILITY RANDOM SWABBING MAY OCCUR AT THIS EVENT.
