Show Jumping + Cross Country Clinic with Peter Gillis (Level 2 EA Coach)
You are encouraged to bring a chair to watch other groups and help with pole pick-up; riders are expected to assist with set up or packdown (depending on their lesson times).
All riders out on the cross-country course will be required to wear an EA approved back protector.
For those BRC Members who are not jumping we have:
We are delighted to welcome Anna as our flatwork instructor on 1 November. Lessons will focus on developing adjustability in our horses through a series of exercises to develop rideability and light responses. As well as being an accredited EA Level 1 General coach and an Equine Science Coach, Anna is a former dressage judge. She has judged dressage for us on many occasions and more recently the ranch trail event. Anna's lessons will be held in the undercover arena and be held during the morning. One hour sessions, and up to 5 riders per group.
The outdoor sand arenas will be available for those who wish to utilise the ground use and lunch option.
Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost of entry for ALL options.
There will be a vegetarian option. Please advise of any other dietary requirements.
Please ensure that your gear/equipment/horse/pony is in good safe working order.
If you are riding, you will be required to wear a tagged riding helmet approved by EA (Equestrian Australia) and appropriate clothing and footwear. (You can get your helmet tagged at most saddlery stores - currently the EA tags are yellow and attached to your helmet strap)
BRC is an EA affiliated club and, as such, is covered by Public Liability Insurance.
EA members are also covered under insurance whilst riding and training their horses. However, being a BRC member only does not mean that you are automatically covered under insurance. You should consider if holding your own personal accident or loss of income insurance is right for you if you are not also an EA member.
A scratching fee will apply. Full refunds are only available if there is a rider on the waitlist or on receipt of a veterinary or medical certificate.
