Entry rules and classes
Jumping:
- 1.05M classes and above (classes 3,4 & 5)
- Horses must have current life EA registration and a current EA jumping licence.
- Riders must have current EA competitor membership.
- Below 1.05M classes (all other classes)
- Official classes – (1, 2, 9B and 10B). Horses must have a least base registration, and riders must have current EA participant or competitor membership. (Riders select these classes for IQ qualifying results).
- Unofficial classes (6. 7, 8, 9 &10) Horses of RM Equestrian club members do not need registration and Riders must have current EA participant membership AND/OR be members of RM Equestrian Centre.
Dressage:
- This is an EA closed Unrestricted event (CUR).
- Horses have NO EA registration requirement.
- Riders can be either current EA participant members AND/OR a member of the RM Equestrian club. See the following link to become a member https://www.rmequestriancentre.com/membership
- Medium level class open to RM Equestrian members only (class 18).
Entries will be checked and entries that do not meet the minimum entry requirement and/or registration requirements will be offered an entry in a level appropriate to the horse and rider’s registration status.
Showjumping Ring 1.
(Note rings may change depending on class nominations. A final schedule will be published prior to the event). Showjump riders may nominate for classes on the day so long as it is prior to the class commencing).
Course walk 7 am for 7.30 am start there will be 15 mins between classes for height changes and additional course walks.

Medical Control:
Under the EA competition rules this event may be selected randomly for Medication Control Program (Swabbing). Members should ensure that when attending activities, their EA Horse registration documentation should be available for the MCP Steward if their horses are either base registered or life registered. Medical coverage at this event will be in accordance with the required level as specified by Equestrian Australia. It is important that riders ensure medical details are updated on the nominate entries.
In the event of horse movement restrictions, each participant will be responsible for veterinary care, maintenance and costs of their horse/s including feeding and watering for the time of such restrictions.
Objections/Protests:
As per EA 515.2.7 CCN Objections, only the owner, their authorised agent, or the rider of a horse taking part in the competition is entitled to lodge an objection.
Protests must be in writing, signed by the person making the protest, and presented personally to the Event Secretary or the Technical Delegate (as the case may be) together with any supporting evidence, names of witnesses and the necessary minimum deposit of $50.
Protests concerning the eligibility of an athlete or horse or to the conditions of the arena: must be lodged not later than 30 minutes before the start of the relevant competition.
Protests concerning an obstacle, or the plan or length of the course for a jumping competition must be lodged not later than 15 minutes before the start of the competition.
Protests concerning irregularities or incidents during a competition, or the classification of a competition, must be lodged not later than 30 minutes after the announcement of the results or the posting of results on the event notice board.
Any person making a protest should, if possible, secure witnesses to the incident and any other form of evidence, and either bring them to the body before whom the protest is lodged, or obtain written statements from them, duly signed, together with their names and addresses.

Photographers wishing to take photos of competitors/at the event/or on the grounds MUST apply to rmequestriancentre@gmail.com for approval. Only approved photographers have the right to sell or use any images from within the grounds.
