Volunteer Hours:
Waiau Pa Pony Club runs on volunteer support. Families are expected to complete at least 10 hours of help over the season. A tally of hours will be kept and it is each family’s responsibility to check your hours have been recorded correctly, volunteer hours are to be sent to WPPC2024@gmail.com to be recorded.
There are many ways to support the club including:
- Helping set up at rallies.
- Coaching
- Setting up for events and clearing away afterwards.
- Event Days - Jump Judging, stewarding, dressage writing
- Writing
- Cafeteria
- BBQ at rallies (on a roster system)
- Cleaning club facilities
- Joining the committee
- Fundraising
If a family does not complete their 10 hours over the duration of the season you will be invoiced $300.
Payment Options:
All purchases from Waiau Pa Pony club must be made in advance of recieving services or products including the canteen.
Social Media Policy:
This policy sets expectations, obligations and acceptable use practices for consuming and creating social media content. This policy applies to all members and may apply even when using personal devices and accounts. Waiau Pa Pony Club acknowledges the enormous value of social networking applications & websites, such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap chat and Youtube to promote our sport and celebrate the achievements and success of the people involved in our sport.
Social media content, including postings, blogs, status updates and tweets:
- Must not use offensive, provocative or hateful language
- Must not be misleading, false or injure the reputation of another person
- Must respect and maintain the privacy of others and not release information not suitable for public, i.e. internal organisational details
- Must not damage the reputation or operations of Waiau Pa Pony Club
- Must not be detrimental to our organisation, reputation or relationships.
Breach of this policy:
Breaches of this policy will be considered a serious matter. Members who do so will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination from the club. Where appropriate, the club will involve the police or other law enforcement agencies in relation to breaches of this policy.
